The FORTEX ST Micro Carbide PCB Drill Bit is a precision-engineered, solid tungsten carbide twist drill designed for demanding printed circuit board production and other fine-detail drilling applications. Its microcarbide construction delivers far superior results in PCB laminate materials such as FR4 fibreglass, providing clean, accurate holes on both multilayer and standard boards, while maintaining a much longer lifespan than equivalent HSS steel drill bits.

Engineered for versatility, this micro drill bit is also popular for jewellery making, watchmaking, and model making, as well as for drilling small through holes, blind via holes, and via interconnectors. The improved inner hole wall quality ensures excellent registration accuracy, making it ideal for high-density multilayer circuit boards.

The 3.175mm (1/8 inch) turbo shoulder shank ensures easy handling and compatibility with most CNC drilling machines. For added flexibility, depth setting rings or collars can be fitted on request, allowing you to set a single plunge depth stop on your PCB drill press that works across all diameters.
