The Kitronik Klip Motor Driver for BBC micro:bit offers far more than just motor control. Designed to simplify project builds, this versatile board allows you to drive two DC motors simultaneously in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, making it an excellent choice for robotics and movement-based tasks.
This driver board breaks out pins 0, 1, 2, 3V and GND, mirroring the main pads found on the BBC micro:bit itself. Additionally, it features a dedicated output specifically designed for ZIP LEDs. All connection pads are tailored for use with crocodile clips and banana plugs, meaning there is absolutely no soldering or fiddling with connection blocks required.
The main BBC micro:bit pin breakout section is highly effective for controlling Kitronik products. Power is conveniently provided via the integrated battery supply, ensuring your projects remain mobile. For ease of troubleshooting and testing code prior to attaching your motors, the board is equipped with O/P and motor driver status lights.
