Littelfuse TR5 Antisurge Fuse 2.5A

Littelfuse TR5 Antisurge Fuse 2.5A is a time-delay radial leaded fuse rated at 2.5A, designed to protect electronic circuits from overloads and surges.

Overview

The TR5 antisurge fuse is engineered to handle temporary inrush currents. Its time-delay characteristic allows it to withstand brief current spikes, such as those that occur during the start-up of motors, transformers, and power supplies, without blowing unnecessarily. This helps to reduce nuisance tripping and supports the continuous operation of connected equipment. The fuse is part of the Littelfuse TR5 range and offers a substantial breaking capacity.
