The aluminium alloy mountings are fully heat-treated for maximum strength, then polished and machine-finished to ensure a perfect handle-to-post fit. The exclusive Diamond Shank design fits precisely into the square hole of the bass wood handle, eliminating any unwanted turning during use.

Instead of welding, which can cause premature embrittlement and breaking, Marshalltown uses properly sized and computer-fitted hardened steel rivets to attach the blade to the mounting. An extra-large toe rivet provides additional strength where it's needed most. The curved wooden handle offers comfortable, ergonomic operation for extended use.
