The MICROCHIP Operational Amplifier is a versatile, low-power, single-channel op-amp engineered for general-purpose applications across a wide range of electronic circuits. Designed using Microchip's advanced CMOS process, it delivers reliable performance in compact, surface-mount designs.

This amplifier family features a 1MHz gain bandwidth product (GBWP) with a typical 90° phase margin, ensuring stable operation. It maintains a robust 45° phase margin even when driving substantial capacitive loads up to 500pF, making it suitable for buffering and driving longer traces or cables. A key advantage is its exceptionally low power consumption, drawing just 100μA (typical) of quiescent current, which is ideal for battery-powered and portable devices.

Operating from a single supply voltage ranging from 1.8V to 6.0V, it offers excellent flexibility for both low-voltage and standard logic-level applications. It supports rail-to-rail input and output (RRIO) swing, maximising the dynamic range and signal fidelity when operating on low supply voltages. The common-mode input voltage range extends from VDD +300mV down to VSS - 300mV, providing ample headroom for signal processing.

Housed in a compact SOT-23 package with 5 pins, it is perfect for space-constrained PCB designs. The device is characterised by a low input offset voltage of 4.5mV and an extremely low input bias current of 1pA, contributing to accurate signal amplification. With a slew rate of 0.6V/µs, it can handle moderate-speed signal transitions effectively.

Qualified to the AEC-Q100 standard, this operational amplifier is suitable for demanding automotive electronics, as well as industrial signal processing and power management systems.
