MICROCHIP PIC16C711-04/P 8-bit CMOS MCU with ADC, 4MHz, 18-pin DIP package. Ideal for embedded control applications.
The MICROCHIP PIC16C711-04/P is a versatile 8-bit CMOS microcontroller featuring an integrated analogue-to-digital (A/D) converter. It employs an advanced RISC architecture for high performance and efficiency.
The PIC16CXX microcontroller family offers enhanced core features, including an eight-level deep hardware stack and support for multiple internal and external interrupt sources. Its Harvard architecture, with separate instruction and data buses, allows for a 14-bit wide instruction word paired with an 8-bit wide data path. The two-stage instruction pipeline enables most instructions to execute in a single cycle, with program branches being the sole exception, requiring two cycles. With only 35 single-word instructions in its reduced instruction set and a large register set, this microcontroller achieves very high performance while remaining accessible.
