PRO ELEC 16-2-3C 3 Core Screened Cable, Black - 100m
High-quality 3-core screened cable with tinned copper braid. Ideal for avionics, control systems & data processing. 440V, 2.5A rating.
The PRO ELEC 16-2-3C 3 Core Screened Cable is a high-performance, specialised cable engineered for critical electronic and instrumentation applications. Designed for high-density wiring between components within instruments and electronic equipment, it provides reliable signal integrity and robust protection against electromagnetic interference.
This cable features three tinned, annealed copper conductors (16/0.2mm), offering excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Each core is individually shielded by a tinned copper wire braid screen, providing superior protection from external noise and crosstalk, which is essential for sensitive data transmission in complex systems.
Encased in a durable black PVC jacket, the cable is built to withstand demanding environments. It boasts a wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C when fixed, and -15°C to +70°C when flexed, making it suitable for both static installations and applications involving movement. With a voltage rating of 440V and a current rating of 2.5A, it is rated for a variety of low-voltage control and power applications.
The minimum bending radius is 7.5 times the overall diameter, ensuring the cable's integrity is maintained during installation in tight spaces without compromising its shielding or electrical properties. This cable is extensively trusted in industries where reliability is non-negotiable, including aviation, process control systems, computing, data processing, and military vehicles and equipment. It is an ideal choice for internal wiring of control panels, communication systems, and any application requiring a shielded, multi-core connection.
