PRO ELEC 3183Y 3 Core Mains Cable - Orange 1mm 10A 100m

The PRO ELEC 3183Y 3 Core Mains Cable is a versatile and reliable electrical cable designed for a broad range of light electrical applications. Manufactured to exacting standards, this cable provides a safe and efficient connection for powering appliances, lighting, and various equipment in domestic, commercial, and workshop environments. Its robust construction ensures consistent performance and long-term durability, making it a trusted choice for electricians and DIY enthusiasts alike.

This cable features plain annealed copper conductors, which offer excellent electrical conductivity and flexibility for easier installation. The conductors are insulated with high-quality PVC, and the overall cable is sheathed in a durable black PVC jacket that provides protection against abrasion, moisture, and general wear. The cable is unscreened, making it suitable for standard power supply runs where interference is not a primary concern.

Compliant with HAR (Harmonised) and RoHS standards, this cable meets essential European safety and environmental directives. It also carries the CE mark and has a CPR (Construction Products Regulation) classification of Eca, confirming its performance in reaction to fire for use in construction works. The standard 300/500V voltage rating and 16A current capacity make it ideal for numerous fixed wiring and appliance connection tasks.

Each cable is clearly coded with the standard UK blue, brown, and green/yellow core colours for easy and correct identification of neutral, live, and earth connections during installation. This adherence to colour coding is crucial for safety and compliance with electrical wiring regulations. Whether you are extending a circuit, wiring a new light fitting, or creating a custom power lead, this 3-core mains cable delivers the reliability and safety features required for the job.
