The PRO-ELEC Single Pole RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection) is a high-performance electrical safety device that combines the functions of an RCCB (Residual Current Device) and an MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) in a single, compact design. Its primary function is personnel protection, offering life-saving defence against electric shock from earth fault currents. The RCBO actively monitors for and protects against earth fault/leakage current, residual current, short circuits, and overloads, while also performing the vital function of isolation.

Key features include a clear contact position indicator for immediate visual confirmation of the device's status (ON/OFF/TRIPPED). The handle is designed with a padlock facility, allowing it to be locked in the 'OFF' position to prevent accidental or unwanted re-energisation during maintenance, enhancing worksite safety.
