Rustins Knotting Solution 125ml
Fast-drying Rustins Knotting Solution seals wood knots, preventing paint discolouration. Ideal for interior and exterior use.
The Rustins Knotting Solution 125ml is designed to seal knots in wood, including resinous and creosoted timber, preventing them from bleeding through paint films. Its fast-drying formula helps maintain the integrity of your paintwork by preventing unsightly discolouration.
Applications
This product is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, making it a versatile addition to your wood treatment toolkit. It is particularly effective on resinous and creosoted timber, where sealing is crucial for maintaining a smooth and durable finish.
How to Use
- Preparation: Begin by sanding the surface smooth to ensure an even application. Do not sand the knotting once it has been applied.
- Application: Apply the knotting liberally over the knots and the surrounding area. For resinous and creosoted timber, seal the surface completely with two coats.
Important Notes
- Do not use under polyurethane clear varnishes, water-based varnishes, or water-based paints.
- Avoid sanding after application to ensure the best results.
With Rustins Knotting Solution, you can achieve a professional finish, whether you're working on a small DIY project or a larger construction task.
