The Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain is a high-quality solvent-borne, low-build, semi-gloss woodstain, designed for both base staining and finishing applications. Its highly translucent formula enhances the natural beauty of woodgrain, making it an excellent choice for exterior wood surfaces.

Cetol HLS Plus offers superior protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling, and cracking. Its microporous and water-repellent properties ensure long-lasting durability, safeguarding wood from weathering and moisture damage.

Applications

This woodstain is ideal for exterior softwood and hardwood substrates, including cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber, and fencing. As a base stain, it is absorbed efficiently into timber, providing a solid foundation for subsequent finishing coats. It can be used as a standalone system on cladding, decking, and garden furniture, or as a base coat before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors.

Important Note: This product should not be used as a standalone finish for hardwood timbers.
