The SPARKFUN Electronics VL6180 ToF (Time of Flight) Range Finder Sensor Board is a highly accurate 3-in-1 sensor package that combines an IR emitter, range sensor, and ambient light sensor with an I2C interface. Its compact form factor includes integrated hole patterns that match the Sharp IR sensor line, making it versatile for various applications.
This advanced sensor features an onboard 2.8V regulator, ensuring the sensor receives the correct voltage (2.8V). It includes an I2C level shifter for logical level conversion from 2.8V to VCC and measures absolute range up to 100mm. Additionally, it supports gesture recognition and has two programmable GPIOs.
