Manufactured to survive the rigours of modern industrial use, its exceptional reliability is achieved through an ingenious yet simple construction method. A moulded silicone rubber housing is secured around a rigid circuit plate, creating an effective environmental seal without the need for gaskets or sealing compounds. This design has been proven in testing, with Storm keypads successfully surviving submersion under 1 metre of water for periods exceeding one hour.
