Timco 4.0x40mm Double Countersunk Stainless Steel Screws - Pack of 15
Durable Timco stainless steel screws (PZ2, double countersunk) for corrosion-resistant fixings in wood, MDF & plastic.
The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws are manufactured from high-quality A2 Stainless Steel, offering superior corrosion resistance—ideal for use in humid or corrosive environments or with inherently corrosive materials like Green Oak. These screws are surface-hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load while maintaining a core hardness of 450 HV for optimal ductility.
Key Features:
- Double countersunk head – Minimises head shear risk and ensures a flush finish.
- 40° deep single thread – Enhances pull-out resistance for secure fastening.
- Single slash on 25mm+ lengths – Reduces torque and timber splitting when screwing near edges.
- Fully threaded up to 75mm (thread length: 35mm for 40mm screws) – Ensures strong grip in all materials.
Applications:
- Softwood & hardwood (pre-drilled)
- Chipboard & MDF
- Plastic & corrosion-prone materials
These screws are Pozi-drive (PZ2) compatible, featuring a sharp 25° point for easy penetration.
