Durable A2 stainless steel screws by Timco, ideal for corrosive environments. Double countersunk PZ head, 60mm length (8-pack).
The Timco Classic Multi-Purpose Screws in A2 Stainless Steel combine superior performance with excellent corrosion resistance. Designed for fixing to softwoods, hardwoods (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF and plastic, these screws are especially suited for use in corrosive environments or with inherently corrosive materials like Green Oak.
Key features include a 40° deep single thread that ensures a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance, while the double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists in completing the countersinking process. Surface hardness of up to 750 HV prevents torque shearing under load, while the core hardness of up to 450 HV improves ductility.
Additionally, a single slash on screws 25mm and longer reduces torque and minimises the risk of timber splitting, especially when driving screws close to the edge. All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded, while lengths 80mm and above feature a 70mm thread length for optimal grip.
These screws are ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications where durable, corrosion-resistant fixings are essential.
