Timco Heavy Duty Timber Screws, Hex Head, Silver, 8.0 x 120mm (Pack of 10)
Robust, corrosion-resistant hex-head timber screws for outdoor use. No pilot hole needed. Pack of 10.
The Timco Heavy Duty Timber Screws offer a superior alternative to traditional coach screws, designed for efficient and robust external applications. Their innovative design eliminates the need for pilot holes in most wood types, significantly reducing installation time while providing enhanced strength and durability.
Featuring a patented multi-layer corrosion-resistant coating, these screws withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray testing, making them ideal for outdoor use where exposure to the elements is a concern. The hex head countersunk with a fixed washer ensures a secure and flush finish, while the 50° deep single thread delivers exceptional pull-out resistance for reliable, long-lasting fixings.
The single slash point minimises torque and reduces the risk of timber splitting, even at low edge distances, and the helix design helps remove debris during installation, improving clamping performance.
