The Timco Metal Construction Screws are specifically designed for attaching wood to light section steel (maximum 5mm thickness). Featuring a self-drilling point and wings that ream out the timber, these screws allow for maximum RPM without burning out. Once the wings encounter metal, they break off, enabling the screw to self-tap into the steel.
Constructed from case-hardened carbon steel with a zinc finish, these screws offer durability and corrosion resistance. The Phillips recess and countersunk ribbed head ensure a secure fit and flush finish once installed. These screws are partially threaded for optimal performance in wood-to-metal applications.
