Timco Metal Expansion Plugs - Yellow, Steel, 6.0 x 32mm (100 Pieces)
Fire-compliant Timco expansion plugs (6.0 x 32mm, steel) for secure fixings in lightweight blocks.
The Timco Metal Expansion Plugs are high-quality steel fixings specifically designed for lightweight aggregate blocks. Unlike plastic alternatives, these all-steel plugs are non-flammable and meet BS 7671 standard's 18th edition requirements, making them ideal for use in fire escape routes and other safety-critical applications where plastic anchors are prohibited.
With external teeth that expand and grip the material securely, these plugs offer high load-bearing strength and ensure a reliable fixing. The internal ribs interlock with the screw threads (wood and chipboard screws recommended) for enhanced grip, reducing the risk of loosening over time. This design also improves installation safety, ensuring a stable and durable hold.
These plugs have a wide range of applications, making them a versatile solution for various fixing needs. The zinc and yellow finish provides corrosion resistance, while the carbon steel construction ensures long-term durability. Whether for commercial or residential use, Timco Metal Expansion Plugs provide a robust and fire-compliant solution for secure fastening.
