Timco Flange Head PZ Self-Tapping Screws, Size 8 x 1 1/4
200 zinc-plated carbon steel PZ flange head self-tapping screws size 8 x 1 1/4 for metal applications. BS 4174:1973 compliant.
The Timco Flange Head PZ Self-Tapping Screws are high-quality carbon steel fasteners designed for stitching metal or attaching components to metal surfaces. With their flange head, they provide a neat, aesthetic finish while also increasing the clamping force for a secure hold. No nuts or washers are required thanks to the integrated flange design.
These screws feature a 60° self-tapping thread that cuts its own thread as it is driven, simplifying installation when used with pre-drilled holes. The Pozi (PZ2) recess offers excellent torque transfer and reduces the risk of cam-out, ensuring smoother driving with the correct bit.
Manufactured to BS 4174:1973 standards, these zinc and clear Cr3 plated screws offer good corrosion resistance for durable performance. The AB point tip helps initiate the thread cutting process efficiently.
Supplied in bulk quantities of 200 pieces per pack, these economical fasteners are ideal for professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts working with metal assemblies.
