Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews, PZ, Zinc-Plated, 10 x 2 (200 Pack)
Hardened carbon steel woodscrews with PZ drive & twin-thread design. 200-pack for carpentry, fencing & masonry.
The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews provide a traditional fastening solution with enhanced features for superior performance in soft timber and masonry applications (when used with plastic plugs). These screws are partially threaded, ensuring both speed and strength during installation.
Featuring a double countersunk head, these screws reduce the likelihood of head shear and assist in completing countersinking cleanly. The 60° twin-threads with parallel shank ensure faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance compared to standard wood screws.
Key Features
- High-Quality Material: Made from C10-18 carbon steel, hardened to 750 HV surface hardness (for torque resistance) and 450 HV core hardness (for improved ductility).
- Fast Installation: The 25° sharp point and single lead provide a quick start and smooth thread acceptance.
- Secure Fastening: PZ (Pozi) recess ensures a secure driver fit, reducing cam-out risk.
- Corrosion Resistance: Zinc-plated finish enhances durability and provides moderate weather resistance.
