Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews, PZ, Zinc, 8 x 2½in (200pk)
Timco carbon steel woodscrews with twin-thread design for fast installation and high pull-out resistance in soft timber or masonry.
The Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews offer a traditional fastening solution with modern engineering enhancements for superior performance in woodworking and light construction applications. These screws feature a smart twin-thread design with a single lead start, enabling faster installation while maintaining excellent pull-out resistance.
Ideal for use in soft timber or masonry (with plastic plugs), these partially threaded screws are made from high-quality C10-18 carbon steel, ensuring consistent durability. The 25° sharp point ensures fast start-up and improved thread acceptance, while the 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank provide quicker insertion and enhanced grip.
The double countersunk head design minimises the risk of head shear and helps complete countersinking cleanly. Surface hardening up to 750 HV prevents torque shearing under load, with a core hardness of 450 HV ensuring optimal ductility under stress.
