Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews, PZ, Double Countersunk, Zinc (6 x 5/8, 200)
Timco carbon steel woodscrews with twin-threads, double countersunk head, and zinc finish for fast, secure installations.
Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews are designed for fast and reliable installation, primarily in soft timber or masonry applications (with a plastic plug). These screws feature a double countersunk head, which reduces the risk of head shear and aids in the countersinking process.
Made from C10-18 carbon steel, these screws ensure consistent quality and durability. The 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank allow for faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance, making them highly efficient. Additionally, the screws are surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load, while the core hardness of up to 450 HV improves ductility for long-term reliability.
Key advantages include a 25° sharp point and single lead for quick starts and improved thread acceptance, ensuring smooth and hassle-free installation. These woodscrews are partially threaded from 1 1/4” and above, providing versatility for various applications.
