Dormer Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr Ball, 9.6 x 6mm
Dormer’s precision 9.6mm carbide rotary burr with ball nose for efficient machining, swarf control & high-impact resistance.
The Dormer P807 Solid Carbide Bright Rotary Burr features a ball nose geometry designed for skip flute grinding, delivering increased strength at the centre for precision machining. Its design reduces the chance of swarf congestion while improving cutting efficiency closer to the core. This rotary burr produces double cuts, making it an excellent first choice for general machining applications.
Engineered for improved ease of control and an increased metal removal rate, this burr breaks swarf into manageable pieces for cleaner operations. The toughened and hardened steel shanks provide exceptional rigidity and strength, minimising bending and reducing vibrations to enhance tool longevity.
Precision-ground to h6 (carbide) and h7 (steel) standards, this burr offers excellent impact strength, capable of withstanding high forces and elevated temperatures without failure. Special brazing elements ensure superior braze strength and durability.
