ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Wood Screws 5.0x80mm, Box of 100
ForgeFast wood screws with TORX® drive, Elementech 400 coating & patented thread for reduced splitting & stronger holds.
ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws feature a universally accepted TORX® compatible drive, ensuring excellent torque transfer and reduced cam-out. The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking and minimal surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power for a more secure fix.
These screws boast a patented drill and drive thread that significantly reduces timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and ensures increased pull-out resistance for a firmer, more durable connection. The sharp point allows for faster bite and can even pierce 0.8mm steel, making these screws versatile for a range of applications.
Featuring Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer superior corrosion resistance, lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The eco-friendly coating is Cr6+ free and has been salt spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring long-term reliability. Ideal for interior use, each box includes a TORX® compatible bit for quick and easy installation.
