ForgeFix Hex Nyloc Nut M8 Zinc Plated, Pack of 100
ForgeFix zinc-plated M8 Nyloc nuts with vibration-resistant nylon inserts. Pack of 100 for secure, permanent fastenings.
The ForgeFix Hex Nyloc Nut M8 features a robust zinc-plated steel construction with an integrated nylon insert for superior vibration resistance. This innovative fastening solution provides a permanent fixing that won't loosen over time, making it ideal for applications subject to movement or vibration.
The nylon insert has a smaller inner diameter than the nut itself, creating a tight grip on the bolt threads when tightened. This mechanism offers more reliable locking than standard washers, preventing loosening even under continuous vibration or movement.
Key Features:
- Zinc-plated finish for excellent corrosion resistance
- Hexagonal shape for optimal torque application with wrenches
- Nylon insert maintains constant tension on bolt threads
- Creates a permanent, vibration-resistant connection
Technical Specifications:

The zinc plating provides dual protection - forming both a physical barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged. This ensures long-term corrosion resistance, while the oxide layer that forms naturally on zinc prevents further degradation of the base metal.
