ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M6 x 12mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 10
High tensile zinc-plated set screws, M6 x 12mm, meet DIN 933 standards. Ideal for engineering & construction. Pack of 10.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw M6 x 12mm is crafted from grade 8.8 steel, delivering superior strength and reliability for demanding engineering applications. Zinc plated for enhanced corrosion resistance, these fully threaded set screws meet the stringent DIN 933 standards for quality and performance.
Zinc plating offers dual protection; it forms a protective barrier against oxidation and serves as a sacrificial anode if the coating is compromised. The resulting zinc oxide layer acts as a durable shield, similar to the protective oxides found on stainless steel and aluminium, ensuring long-lasting surface integrity even in harsh conditions.
