ForgeFix Square Plate Washers 50x50x10mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 10
Durable ForgeFix square plate washers (50x50x10mm, zinc plated) for heavy-duty timber fastening applications. Pack of 10.
The ForgeFix Square Plate Washers are designed for heavy-duty fastening applications where reliable load distribution is essential. These washers feature a square design with a larger surface area compared to standard round washers, ensuring even load distribution under bolt heads in structural timber fastening applications such as joist work and decking.
These square plate washers are bright zinc plated, providing enhanced corrosion resistance. The zinc plating acts as both a protective barrier and a sacrificial anode, preventing oxidation of the underlying metal and extending the product's lifespan. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide forms a stable layer that maintains surface integrity even when exposed to environmental elements.
