Timco Timber to Light Section Screws are specifically engineered for attaching wood to light section steel (maximum 4mm thickness). These screws feature a coarse self-tapping thread with wing-tip design, which reams out the timber to allow the screw to achieve maximum RPM without burning out. Upon contact with metal, the wings break off, enabling the thread to self-tap into the metal efficiently.
The countersunk head with ribs provides a flush finish, while the Phillips recess ensures easy driving. Made from case and core hardened carbon steel with a zinc finish, these screws offer excellent durability and corrosion resistance.
