Timco 10x100mm twin-thread woodscrews with PZ drive for fast, secure fixing in timber and masonry. Zinc finish, pack of 6.
The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews combine traditional design with modern engineering for superior performance in woodworking applications. These partially threaded screws feature an innovative twin-thread design with single lead start for faster installation while maintaining excellent pull-out resistance.
Specifically designed for soft timber and masonry (with plastic plugs), these screws feature a double countersunk head that reduces the likelihood of head shear and ensures clean, flush finishing. Made from C10-18 carbon steel with surface hardening up to 750 HV, they're built to withstand torque stresses while maintaining ductility with a 450 HV core hardness.
Key features include a 25° sharp point for fast starting and improved thread acceptance, plus 60° twin-threads on a parallel shank for faster insertion. The Pozi (PZ) drive recess provides excellent torque transfer with reduced cam-out risk when used with the correct PZ2 driver bit.
