Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews - PZ Double Countersunk, Zinc, 6 x 1/2 (200pcs)
High-quality Timco twin-thread woodscrews with Pozi drive. Double countersunk, zinc plated carbon steel - 6x1/2 (200 pieces).
The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews are high-quality fasteners designed for efficiency and durability in woodworking and light construction applications. Featuring a traditional twin-thread design with single lead start, these screws allow for faster installation while maintaining excellent holding power.
Key Features
- Double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists in completing countersinking for a flush finish
- Partially threaded design (on sizes 1 1/4” and above) for optimal grip and pull-out resistance
- Manufactured from C10-18 carbon steel to ensure consistent quality and performance
- 60° twin-threads with parallel shank enable faster insertion while providing greater pull-out resistance
- Surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load, with a core hardness of up to 450 HV for improved ductility
- 25° sharp point with single lead ensures fast starts and improved thread acceptance
These versatile screws are primarily designed for use in soft timber applications, but can also be used with masonry when paired with a plastic plug. The zinc finish provides corrosion resistance, while the Pozi (PZ) drive offers superior torque transfer with reduced slippage compared to traditional Phillips heads.
