Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews, PZ Double Countersunk, Zinc, Size 8x3 (10-Pack)
Durable zinc-coated Timco PZ double countersunk woodscrews for fast installation in timber and masonry (10-pack).
The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews are designed for fast and secure installation in soft timber and masonry (with plastic plugs). These high-quality screws feature a double countersunk head, reducing the likelihood of head shear and ensuring easier countersinking. Made from C10-18 steel, they offer consistent quality and reliability for all your woodworking and construction needs.
Key Features:
- Twin-threads with parallel shank - Ensures faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance.
- Surface hardened up to 750 HV - Prevents torque shearing under load.
- Core hardness of 450 HV - Improves ductility for enhanced durability.
- 25° sharp point with single lead - Facilitates a fast start and improved thread acceptance.
- Partially threaded on longer lengths (from 1 1/4” and above) for stability.
These screws are corrosion-resistant, thanks to their zinc finish, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The Pozi drive (PZ2) ensures secure and slip-free driving, ensuring an efficient and professional installation every time.
