ForgeFast Pozi Compatible Wood Screws ZY 6.0 x 40mm (Box of 100)
High-performance ForgeFix wood screws with Pozi drive, anti-corrosion coating & reduced-torque thread. Box of 100.
The ForgeFast Pozi Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screws from ForgeFix combine advanced engineering with superior coating technology for exceptional wood fastening performance. These screws feature a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive system alongside several innovative design elements that make installation easier and more secure.
Key Features:
- Anti-friction thread design reduces timber splitting and prevents 'jacking' (where joined timber pieces separate during fastening)
- Serrated thread pattern enhances pull-out resistance while decreasing required insertion torque
- Double cutting point enables faster drilling, reduces wood dust clogging, and can pierce through 0.8mm steel
- 6 underhead lobes promote better countersinking and minimise surface dust accumulation
- Reinforced countersunk necks provide improved holding power for more secure fastenings
Protective Coating:
The screws feature the advanced 'Elementech 400' anti-corrosive coating that lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested to 400 hours, though the screws are recommended for interior use only.
