ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel Screws 5.5 x 120mm, Box of 50
Durable Timber to Steel screws with breakaway wings. Fire & corrosion resistant. 50 per box.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specifically designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings with exceptional efficiency. These screws feature innovative breakaway wings that create a clearance hole, protecting the thread from engaging with the timber while drilling. Upon contacting the metal surface, the wings break off, allowing the thread to engage securely with the metal. This unique design ensures a clean and precise installation every time.
Equipped with a TORX® compatible insert, these screws allow for higher power transmission, reducing the risk of cam-out and improving drive stability. The recessed ribs provide improved countersinking for a flush finish. These screws are both fire and corrosion resistant, making them suitable for demanding environments, and comply with EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
