The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch offers a quick, effective solution for cutting clean, precise holes in sheet metal (up to 16 gauge). Its specialised design ensures even load distribution during the cutting process, resulting in smooth, burr-free holes that require no additional finishing.
Featuring heat-treated cutting edges and a black anti-corrosive surface, this punch resists rust and maintains durability over time. It is sold individually—please note that a hexagonal key (MB 8mm) must be purchased separately.
How It Works:
- Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw and pass it through the hole.
- Position the die on top of the die nut.
- Screw the die nut onto the hexagonal screw until it touches the metal sheet.
- Use an 8mm hexagonal key to turn the screw—this pulls the punch through the metal, creating a clean hole.
Note: These instructions apply to punches up to 15mm in size. Larger sizes (15mm+) have a simplified configuration with fewer components and an integrated thread in the punch.
