The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch offers a quick and efficient solution for cutting clean, metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge. Its special design ensures even load distribution during cutting, resulting in a burr-free hole that requires no additional finishing.
Crafted from high-quality materials, this punch features heat-treated cutting edges for enhanced durability and a black anti-corrosive surface finish to prevent rusting. Each punch is sold individually, with the hex key (14mm wrench) required to operate it needing to be purchased separately.
Usage Instructions
- Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw.
- Pass the hexagonal screw through the desired hole location in the metal sheet.
- Place the die on top of the die nut and screw the nut onto the projecting hexagonal screw until it touches the metal sheet.
- Use a 14mm hexagonal key to turn the screw, pulling the punch through the metal to create a clean hole.
Note: These instructions apply to cutters up to 15mm in size. Larger cutters (15mm and above) have a different configuration and fewer components, with the thread integrated into the punch instead of the die nut.
