Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch, 80mm, for up to 16 Gauge Metal

The Q.Max Sheet Metal Punch (80mm) provides a quick and efficient way to cut clean, metric-sized holes in sheet metal up to 16 gauge. Its unique design ensures an even load distribution during cutting, resulting in a burr-free hole that requires no additional finishing.

Featuring heat-treated cutting edges and a black anti-corrosive surface finish, this punch is built to resist rust and prolong tool life. Notably, each punch is sold individually without a key, so a 14mm hexagonal wrench must be ordered separately.

How to Use:

1. Thread the punch onto the hexagonal screw.
2. Insert the hexagonal screw through the hole in the workpiece.
3. Position the die on top of the die nut.
4. Screw the die nut onto the projecting hexagonal screw until it touches the metal sheet.
5. Use the hexagonal key to turn the screw, pulling the punch through the metal to create a clean hole.

Note: This instruction applies to punches up to 15mm. Larger cutters (15mm+) have a different configuration—they feature fewer components, with the thread integrated into the punch, eliminating the need for a die nut.
