Dormer Solid Carbide Rotary Burr - Cylinder, No Endcut, 3x3mm
Dormer solid carbide rotary burr - 3x3mm cylinder no endcut - ideal for general machining with improved metal removal.
The Dormer P801 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr features a cylinder without endcut and produces a double cut pattern - making it the first choice for general machining applications. This design improves ease of control, increases metal removal rates, and breaks swarf into manageable pieces for cleaner working.
The toughened and hardened steel shank provides exceptional rigidity and strength, preventing bending and minimizing vibrations. This results in improved tool life and consistent performance. The cutting edges are ground to h6 (carbide) standard with steel components machined to h7 standard for precision fit.
Key Features:
- Excellent impact strength - withstands high cutting forces without failing
- Heat resistance - maintains performance at higher working temperatures
- Special brazing elements - provide superior braze strength for the carbide tips
