Designed to be the centre of your next robotics or buggy project, the Kitronik Simply Robotics Motor Driver Board for Raspberry Pi Pico is a comprehensive, all-in-one control solution. Engineered specifically for the Raspberry Pi Pico, this board features onboard headers, allowing you to simply slot your Pico into place and begin programming and building immediately. It’s built to handle the complex demands of mobile robotics with ease and reliability.

At its heart are two dual H-bridge motor driver ICs, each channel capable of delivering up to 1A with integrated overcurrent protection. This robust setup allows you to drive up to four DC motors with full forward, reverse, and stop control, or alternatively, operate two stepper motors with precision. For additional actuation, the board provides eight servo outputs compatible with both standard and continuous rotation servos, all fitted with standard 3-pin connectors for straightforward wiring.

Connectivity is a key strength, with four terminal block outputs for motors and five external connections to GPIO pins plus a 3.3V GND supply for adding sensors, switches, and other inputs. Power is supplied via a terminal block connection; the board efficiently powers all connected motors and servos while also providing a regulated 3V supply to the Pico itself. An onboard power switch with a green LED offers convenient control, and built-in reverse polarity protection guards against wiring mistakes.

To accelerate your development, a dedicated MicroPython module and sample code are available, helping you get your robot moving quickly. For physical installation, the board includes three M3 mounting holes for easy fixing to a chassis or inside an enclosure. Constructed for continuous use, please note the board may become warm during high-current operation—this is normal and expected.
