The Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain is a premium, solvent-borne semi-gloss woodstain designed for both base coating and finishing. Its highly translucent formula enhances the natural beauty of woodgrain while providing exceptional protection against mould, algae, and UV radiation. This low-build stain is also microporous and water-repellent, ensuring long-lasting durability and resistance to peeling and cracking.
Applications
Cetol HLS Plus is ideal for exterior softwood and hardwood substrates, including cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber, and fencing. When used as a base stain, it readily absorbs into timber, creating a solid foundation for finishing coats. It can be applied alone on cladding, decking, and garden furniture or as a base coat before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus on windows and doors.
Note: This product should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers. Its versatility and high performance make it a preferred choice for professionals seeking superior wood protection and aesthetics.
