Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets Organic Slug Barrier 1L
Organic & safe wool pellets forming protective barrier against slugs/snails. Safe for plants, pets & wildlife. 1L size.
Vitax Slug Gone Wool Pellets offer a natural and organic solution to protect your plants from slugs and snails. Made from 100% wool, these pellets create a highly effective textured barrier that deters these common garden pests without the use of harmful chemicals.
How It Works
- Simply scatter the pellets around the base of your plants and water them.
- Once wetted, the pellets 'self-felt' to form a continuous mat around plant stems.
- The tiny wool fibres act as an irritant to slugs and snails, discouraging them from crossing the barrier.
- The mat also absorbs moisture from the slug's foot, making it nearly impossible for them to move across.
Benefits
- Organic and pet-safe – Ideal for organic gardening and safe for wildlife.
- Improves soil health – Releases nitrogen, potassium, sulphur, and other nutrients as it breaks down.
- Reduces watering frequency – Helps retain moisture in the soil while keeping the surface dry to prevent weed growth.
- Biodegradable – Can be dug into the soil after use to further enhance fertility.
Usage Tips
- Apply in a 10 cm (4-inch) wide band around plants for best results.
- Suitable for pots, baskets, flower beds, and vegetable patches.
