The Flamex 465070 Flex-Heat 8 Port Heat Exchanger is designed to efficiently transfer heat from a wood-burning stove's flue to a hot water cylinder, providing a cost-effective method of heating domestic hot water. This highly flexible heat exchanger features a patented coil-on-coil design, allowing for versatile and customisable installations in both new and existing heating systems. It is constructed from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel for long-lasting durability and is suitable for use with 25mm or 32mm pipes. The unit comes pre-insulated with 30mm thick fibre-glass wool for optimal thermal efficiency, minimising heat loss. The heat exchanger can be positioned either horizontally or vertically, making it a practical and adaptable solution for maximising energy usage from your stove. It is designed to connect directly to a hot water cylinder via standard 22mm copper pipe compression fittings (not included), ensuring a straightforward integration into most home heating setups. Please note: This unit is only suitable for a single hot water cylinder and cannot be used with multiple cylinders or underfloor heating systems. The heat exchanger requires a minimum flue temperature of 200°C to operate safely and effectively, ensuring the longevity of the system and preventing condensation issues.
