The ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are engineered for high-performance fastening in wood applications. Featuring a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive, these screws ensure a secure fit with reduced slippage during installation. The 6 underhead lobes provide improved countersinking, minimising surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power.
Designed to minimise timber splitting and reduce 'jacking' or spinning, these screws boast an anti-friction thread. The serrated thread further improves pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque, making installation smoother and more efficient. The double cutting point accelerates drilling time, prevents wood dust clogging, and even allows piercing through 0.8mm steel.
Protected by Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer superior anti-corrosion resistance, lasting up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating, free from Cr6+, has been tested to withstand 400 hours of salt spray. The screws are ideal for interior use, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliability.
