The ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws are engineered for superior performance in woodworking applications. Featuring a universally accepted TORX® compatible drive, these screws offer enhanced torque transfer and reduced cam-out during installation.
The patented drill and drive thread significantly reduces timber splitting and prevents 'jacking' or spinning of joined timber, ensuring a firmer fix with increased pull-out resistance. A sharp point design allows for faster bite and can even penetrate 0.8mm steel.
The recessed ribs improve countersinking while minimising surface dust, and the reinforced countersunk necks provide improved holding power for long-lasting connections.
These screws are coated with 'Elementech 400', an advanced anti-corrosive finish that offers up to 6 times longer protection than standard zinc coatings. Environmentally friendly and free from Cr6+, this coating has been salt spray tested to 400 hours, ensuring durability in interior applications.
Each box includes a complimentary TORX® compatible bit for convenient installation.
