The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screw combines premium screw features into a highly versatile, multi-purpose wood screw. Designed for strength and ease of use, this screw features a countersunk, Pozidrive-compatible recessed head, ensuring a secure and flush fit.
Boasting a fully threaded, sawtooth design, these screws prevent wood splitting, while the included reamer (for screws 50mm and above) eliminates jacking. The Type 17 slash point allows for quick and easy starts, reducing installation time.
Durability & Finish
Each screw undergoes surface hardening and features a zinc yellow passivated finish, offering excellent corrosion resistance. This electroplating process, similar to galvanisation but with an added yellow dye, ensures both durability and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
