The SparkFun Servo Trigger Breakout Board is a compact and efficient solution designed to simplify the control of RC servo motors. This small robotics board is ideal for hobbyists, educators, and professionals looking to automate movement with servo motors.
When an external switch or logic signal changes state, the Servo Trigger can command an attached servo motor to move from position A to position B, providing precise control over servo movement. The board includes three potentiometers for easy configuration of servo positions and timing:
- A: Sets the default servo position when the switch is open.
- B: Sets the target servo position when the switch is closed.
- T: Adjusts the transition time between positions A and B.
Additionally, the board allows for configurable input polarity and response mode, giving users flexibility in how the servo responds to input signals. For advanced users, the ISP header pins enable reprogramming of the board to suit custom applications.
Compatible with analogue servos, the SparkFun Servo Trigger operates at a recommended voltage of 5V DC (with a maximum of 5.5V DC) and has a low current draw of 5mA, making it energy-efficient for various projects.
