The Timco Bi-Metal Composite Panel Screws are expertly crafted for the fastening of composite panels onto light gauge steel sections (maximum thickness 5mm). They boast a unique combination of strength and corrosion resistance thanks to their innovative construction: the bi-metallic design integrates a hardened carbon steel drill point attached to an A2-304 Austenitic Stainless Steel shaft, resulting in excellent performance even in demanding environments.
With their self-tapping design, these screws eliminate the need for pre-drilling holes significantly cutting installation time and labour costs utilising the efficacious hex head which is designed to be driven quickly via either a socket wrench driver tool or an impact pestle driver.
The integrated EPDM rubber washer acts as an effective gasket sealing out moisture intrusion prevents corrosion making these screws perfect for external-facing applications including roofing, cladding and steel frame assembly tasks in both industrial building projects but also equally well suited portable site building structures such as site offices modules portable cabins etc; where individual panels must be securely attached despite exposure changing weather conditions elements are uncontrollable factors owners cannot ignore.
This pack contains 100 screws giving you ample supply taking into account typical requirements encountered during actual task execution phases, decreasing interruptions while improving productivity meaning project completion is timelier meeting set aims.
